Papers, ca. 1945-2000.

Contains a short memoir recounting Dalebout's combat on the Italian front lines and a particular instance in which he was seriously wounded by German machine gun fire. Discusses his subsequent medical care and his miraculous healing (aided by a blessing given by a fellow LDS soldier). Also contains a hand-written account of his living conditions, physical and spiritual health, and the support he received from his family throughout the war. Includes his discharge papers and the citation for his Bronze Star.
